El alcalde Marco Bonilla, dio arranque oficial a la entrega becas para Centros de Atención Infantil, para apoyar a mil 450 niñas y niños inscritos en los 59 centros que fueron seleccionados en la convocatoria, con una beca de 650 pesos mensuales durante todo el año.
Con una inversión de más de 10 millones de pesos en total, se realiza este programa que está dirigido a niñas y niños que asisten a centros de cuidado infantil, como las Estancias Infantiles y Centros de Bienestar Infantil, espacios donde reciben atención integral.
En su mensaje, el Alcalde señaló que desde el Gobierno Municipal se prioriza a las familias, y por eso, se trabaja para cuidar a las niñas y niños, y estas becas ayudan a eso.
“No solo se trata de tener en dónde dejar a nuestras niñas y niños, es que cuenten con espacios de calidad”, detalló a la par de comentar que cuidar a la niñez, es proteger a la ciudad.
Por su parte, la presidenta del DIF Municipal, Karina Olivas, destacó la importancia de que niñas y niños crezcan en ambientes sanos y seguros, y por eso, se ha puesto manos a la obra para juntos, gobierno y padres de familia, mejorar la calidad de vida y cuidarlos bien.
Marlenne Amairany, una de las niñas beneficiaras y en representación de los demás niños, agradeció a estos espacios, así como a docentes y su equipo, ya que cuidan a todos con amor y paciencia para hacer que cada día sea especial. También, dio gracias por las becas del Gobierno Municipal, ya que, con estos apoyos, sus papás pueden salir con tranquilidad a trabajar con la seguridad de que ella está bien cuidada.
Este beneficio económico para las familias se traduce en un apoyo acumulado de más de 7 mil pesos anuales, contribuyendo al pago de la educación y el cuidado de sus hijas e hijos.
