El Gabinete de Seguridad del Gobierno de México reveló los detalles del “traslado a Estados Unidos” de 29 generadores de violencia, entre ellos el narcotraficante Rafael Caro Quintero.
El fiscal general de la República, Alejandro Gertz Manero, aclaró que los 29 reos no fueron extraditados sino entregados al Gobierno de Estados Unidos por razones de seguridad.
Refirió que el envío fue en cuplimiento del artículo 5 de la Ley de Seguridad Nacional y del artículo 89 de la Constitución.
“Esta es una solcitud de seguridad nacional que justificaron los EE.UU. en razón de las conductas criminales de esas personas en ese país, que coinciden con los procedimientos y los conocimientos que tenemos de las pruebas sobre su conducta. (Personas requeridas) nada más”, expuso.
