Mario Delgado, secretario de Educación Pública, aseguró que durante enero se entregaron las tarjetas de apoyo a todos los adolescentes que ingresaron a secundaria, beneficiando a más de un millón de estudiantes, quienes quedaron listos para recibir el recurso correspondiente. Además, señaló que a partir del 3 de febrero inició el despliegue de servidores de la educación para llevar a cabo asambleas informativas en distintos puntos del país.
Detalló que en estas reuniones se informó sobre la incorporación de la beca Rita Cetina, un apoyo anual de 2 mil 500 pesos, destinado a ampliar la cobertura y permitir que más estudiantes se integren como beneficiarios. Indicó que el programa contempló una inversión de 8 mil 417 millones de pesos, con el objetivo de garantizar que todos los menores contemplados accedan a este esquema de apoyo educativo.
Informó sobre los avances en la entrega de becas dirigidas a estudiantes de secundaria y otros programas educativos, al destacar que las acciones emprendidas tuvieron alcance nacional y un impacto social significativo en millones de niñas, niños y adolescentes.
