La gobernadora María Eugenia Campos Galván anunció la llegada de un helicóptero especial para ayudar a combatir los incendios forestales activos en la entidad, sobre todo en el municipio serrano de Moris, que tiene 10 mil hectáreas en fuego.
La aeronave fue enviada por la Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional (Sedena), mediante la coordinación que activó el Gobierno del Estado, según explicó la mandataria estatal.
Además, señaló que se reforzarán las estrategias para evitar mayores estragos, una vez que inicie el periodo más fuerte: “estaremos previniéndonos más para esta temporada de incendios en el estado de Chihuahua”.
La Secretaría de Desarrollo Rural (SDR) informó que un total de 450 combatientes se encuentran desplegados para atender y abatir 13 incendios forestales activos en ocho municipios, que son Casas Grandes, Uruachi, Moris, Guadalupe y Calvo, Guerrero, Balleza, Urique y Guachochi.
