La diputada local, Irlanda Márquez (PT), observó que Chihuahua es uno de los únicos tres estados del país, en que no han integrado la violencia vicaria en las leyes: “ya nos quedamos atrás”.
Explicó que con su adhesión a la iniciativa para reformar la Ley Estatal del Derecho de las Mujeres a una Vida Libre de Violencia, el Código Penal, y el Código Civil del Estado de Chihuahua, con el objetivo de reconocer y sancionar esta forma extrema de violencia de género.
“Esta tipificación es de suma importancia, ya que el sujeto pasivo ante las violencias siempre es la mujer, la violencia sistemática no trastoca a los hombres, esta tipificación de la violencia vicaria es una acción afirmativa”, recalcó.
Indicó que lograr esta modificación legal, en protege a las mujeres porque “somos las cuidadoras somos, las que quedamos en casa, es importante que no quede a interpretación; que esta ley vicaria es aplicable a las mujeres”.
