A media tarde, el ministro del Interior, Ali Yerlikaya, compareció ante la prensa para confirmar que había 11 fallecidos, de los que ocho eran mujeres y tres hombres.
Explicó que la cifra inicialmente difundida de 12 muertos se debía a un error al rescatar los cuerpos destrozados por la deflagración.
