La tarde de este viernes, el Presidente Municipal, Cruz Pérez Cuéllar, recibió a la selección femenil de secundarias de Ciudad Juárez que ganó en el torneo estatal de futbol, por lo que parte de ellas representarán al estado de Chihuahua en el torneo nacional que se celebrará en Puebla.
El alcalde recibió a la selección fronteriza y reconoció el esfuerzo y entrega de las jugadoras, ya que demostraron que las y los juarenses tienen el compromiso de salir adelante en todo lo que se proponen.
En una reunión que se llevó a cabo la Sala José Reyes Estrada, donde también estuvieron los regidores Karla Michaeel Escalante Ramírez y Daniel Alejandro Acosta Aviña, el Presidente Pérez Cuéllar les dijo que cuentan con el Municipio para lo que necesiten en el evento nacional.
Agregó que es importante apoyar al deporte y la niñez y juventud, ya que son el futuro de esta ciudad y este país, pero también dijo que es importante reconocer y felicitar a las madres, padres, docentes y equipo técnico, pues el triunfo de estas jóvenes también depende de ellos.
El profesor de educación física y técnico del equipo, Cristián Torres, dijo que es importante para las jóvenes que se reconozca su esfuerzo y sus logros; ahora seis de ellas representarán a Ciudad Juárez y a Chihuahua en el campeonato en Puebla, donde será el nacional.
Dijo que para las estudiantes es de suma importancia que las autoridades y el Presidente las reciban, ya que esto demuestra que se están haciendo bien las cosas.
