El Gobierno del Estado informó que durante 2024 se han efectuado casi dos decenas de traslados aeromédicos, para brindar atención hospitalaria oportuna a pacientes en condiciones graves, con diagnósticos como traumatismos, quemaduras, fracturas, así como tratamiento a neonatos, entre otros.
Personal de la Secretaría de Seguridad Pública del Estado (SSPE), de la Coordinación Estatal de Protección Civil (CEPC) y la Secretaría de Salud, detalló que de enero a la fecha se realizaron un total de 19 servicios aéreos, desde Ciudad Juárez, Nuevo Casas Grandes, Ojinaga, Guachochi, Ocampo, y diversos puntos de la región serrana.
De los 19 traslados referidos, tres obedecieron a emergencias gestacionales y preeclampsia, siete pacientes fueron atendidos por problemas cardíacos y cardiopatías congénitas, cuatro por quemaduras en la superficie corporal y cinco más se debieron a accidentes automovilísticos.
Los servicios de ambulancia aérea han sido posibles gracias a la estrecha colaboración con diversas instituciones, principalmente con los Servicios de Salud de Chihuahua y su red hospitalaria en la entidad, el Hospital Infantil de Especialidades, el Hospital General “Dr. Salvador Zubirán” y el Hospital Central, en la capital.
Estos traslados, así como la operación de las aeronaves de ala rotativa, han representado un total de 1,492 horas de vuelo, tan solo en el presente año.
Durante esta temporada vacacional decembrina, también se han establecido guardias en apoyo al operativo carretero, con personal médico y de enfermería voluntario de la CEPC, que está disponible para realizar traslados aéreos de emergencia cuando sea necesario, en coordinación con pilotos de la SSPE y de la plantilla del hangar del Gobierno del Estado.
Además se cuenta con el apoyo del Centro Regulador de Urgencias Médicas, la Unidad de Rescate del Gobierno del Estado (URGE), médicos y enfermeros voluntarios de la CEPC, entre otras instancias de auxilio para el traslado vía ambulancia terrestre.
Gracias a estos esfuerzos conjuntos, se ha logrado brindar atención rápida y eficaz a quienes más lo necesitan, lo cual demuestra el compromiso de la administración estatal con la salud y el bienestar de las y los chihuahuenses.
