Bonilla subrayó que el Presupuesto Participativo seguirá dando resultados en este 2026, con más obras y mayor inversión para mejorar espacios públicos y deportivos en toda la ciudad.
En representación de la gobernadora Maru Campos, la titular del Instituto Chihuahuense del Deporte, Tania Teporaca Romero, reconoció la importancia de esta obra que permitirá practicar ciclismo en condiciones más seguras y dignas, y llamó a cuidar este espacio para formar nuevas generaciones de deportistas.
Por su parte, David Chávez Villagrán, promovente del proyecto, agradeció al Gobierno Municipal y a las y los ciclistas que votaron para hacer realidad esta mejora impulsada desde la ciudadanía.
La rehabilitación incluyó la renovación de 3 mil 300 metros cuadrados de carpeta asfáltica, modernización del alumbrado con ocho postes de 12 metros y 24 reflectores, sustitución de malla perimetral, rehabilitación de gradas y techumbre, mejoras en la palapa central, señalización de la pista, colocación de placa de obra y construcción de un tramo de banqueta en el acceso principal.
