Luis Fernando Chacón, Diputado por el PRI en el Congreso local, inauguró exposición de productos navideños elaborados por personas privadas de la libertad en el estado de Chihuahua.
La exposición muestra el trabajo de personas que se encuentran en proceso de readaptación social y eligen actividades productivas como una forma de encontrar sustento económico, al mismo tiempo que desarrollan habilidades y aptitudes que les permitan una verdadera reinserción en la comunidad.
La elaboración y venta de estos productos se da en el marco de un programa permanente operado por la Dirección de Reinserción Social, llamado “Manos en Libertad”, mismo que promueve actividades ocupacionales que contribuyen incluso a que los internos puedan pagar la reparación de daños que se les impone como parte de sus sentencias.
El priista reconoció el trabajo de la Secretaría de Seguridad Pública para garantizar que los Centros de Reinserción sean espacios con la capacidad de influir positivamente en las dinámicas comunitarias, logrando que quienes han infringido la ley tengan herramientas para reincorporarse a la sociedad en condiciones de productividad y respeto a la ley.
En el evento se encontraron presentes la Presidenta del Congreso, la Diputada Elizabeth Guzmán; el General de División Ricardo Fernández, Subsecretario del Sistema Penitenciario del Estado; y el Lic. César Perales, Visitador de la Comisión Estatal de Derechos Humanos.
Acudieron también el Director de los Centros de Reinserción del Estado, el maestro Ricardo Realivázquez; la maestra María Creel Garza Ríos, Asesora del Fiscal General del Estado; y el licenciado Alejandro Balderrama, Titular del Centro de Reinserción para Adolescentes.
La exposición se encontrará montada en el mezanine del Congreso del Estado del 02 al 06 de diciembre y el público en general podrá acudir a comprar los productos que provienen de los diferentes Centros de Reinserción Social de la entidad.
