El Gobierno Municipal a través de la Dirección de Obras Públicas, inició los trabajos de construcción de un dren pluvial en la colonia Barrio El Bajo, proyecto que resultó ganador en la reciente consulta del Presupuesto Participativo 2025.
Esta obra seleccionada en el Distrito 15 con más de 800 votos, beneficiará a más de 27 mil habitantes al reducir la acumulación de agua de lluvia y prevenir inundaciones en la zona.
Se construirá un dren pluvial a base de cajas de captación con rejillas metálicas, conectado mediante dos tubos metálicos corrugados de 90 centímetros de diámetro. Estos contarán con un registro de 3.2 metros por 2.44 metros para servicio en los puntos de vuelta, permitiendo canalizar el agua hacia el canal ubicado en la avenida prolongación Teófilo Borunda.
Debido a estos trabajos, el carril lateral de la avenida prolongación Teófilo Borunda, a la altura del Hospital General de Chihuahua “Dr. Salvador Zubirán Anchondo”, con dirección hacia la avenida Carlos Pacheco, se verá afectado. Por ello, se exhorta a la ciudadanía a circular con precaución.
Asimismo, la calle 39, desde la avenida prolongación Teófilo Borunda hasta la calle Ejército Mexicano, quedará habilitada únicamente para tráfico local.
Como rutas alternas, quienes circulen en sentido poniente-oriente por la avenida prolongación Teófilo Borunda podrán continuar por el carril central y de extrema izquierda para incorporarse a la vialidad Sacramento. También se sugiere utilizar las avenidas De la Junta y Benito Juárez para dirigirse hacia la avenida Pacheco, así como la calle Jesús García para conectarse con la avenida de las Industrias.
Con estas acciones, el Gobierno Municipal encabezado por el alcalde Marco Bonilla, refrenda su compromiso con la ciudadanía al realizar obras que fortalecen y mejoran la infraestructura de las colonias chihuahuenses.
