Por primera vez en la historia las alcaldesas y los alcaldes expusieron tanto sus necesidades, como sus proyectos, de manera directa ante la Secretaría de Economía (SE) del Gobierno Federal, con el objetivo de acceder al portafolio de negocios que administra una bolsa de cerca de 10.5 millones de dólares (mdd).
Alcaldesas, alcaldes, oficiales mayores, secretarios de Ayuntamiento, y regidoras, acudieron al Primer Foro Regional de Colaboración Económica “Municipios y Secretaría de Economía”, desarrollado en un conocido hotel de la ciudad de Chihuahua, convocado por el coordinador del Corredor de Bienestar Económico Frontera, Héctor Ochoa Moreno.
“La instrucción de la presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum, y del secretario de Economía, Marcelo Ebrard, es acercarles toda esta información, porque Chihuahua tiene una georeferencia única en el mundo, por su cercanía con Estados Unidos y su nexo con China, no piensen que solo es Ciudad Juárez, también en otros municipios hay condiciones para desarrollar economía”, expuso.
El funcionario federal compartió que la intención es hacer foros regionales supervisados directamente desde la SE, para realizar las gestiones necesarias en la Ciudad de México, para lo cual se segmentó el país en 10 corredores.
Destacó que existe un portafolio de inversiones que tiene registrados 151 proyectos del estado de Chihuahua, que representa una bolsa de 10,471 mdd: “se las podemos compartir, para que ustedes vean las áreas de oportunidad en la que pueden participar sus municipios, los proyectos que se pueden generar”.
Al respecto, destacó que es trascendente que los ayuntamientos realicen un censo sobre productos con potencial de comercio: “el Corredor Frontera, que incluye a Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nuevo León, y Tamaulipas, representa el 18% del PIB.
Observó que tan solo en la ciudad de Chihuahua hay 27 mil empresas registradas, y solo 3 cotizan en bolsa, en tanto que el 99% de las existentes en el país, son Mipymes.
El Corredor también lleva el objetivo de promover el registro de patentes y las denominaciones de origen, éste último porque obtienen un valor agregado e implicaría acceder a incentivos incluso internacionales.
Los municipios que asistieron al Foro son Ojinaga, Cusihuiriachi, Guerrero, Gran Morelos, Riva Palacio, Santa Isabel, Urique, Temósachi, Nonoava, Ocampo, San Francisco de Borja, Guachochi, y Satevó, acudieron al acercamiento.
