La presidenta encargada de Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, manifestó su disposición de construir relaciones a “largo plazo” con Estados Unidos, país con el que retomó relaciones diplomáticas de manera formal el pasado jueves.
En una transmisión del canal estatal Venezolana de Televisión, Rodríguez indicó que su país tiene una agenda de trabajo con Estados Unidos en el área energética, de minería y de combate al narcotráfico.
“Queremos construir relaciones a largo plazo, pero deben estar basadas en la verdad. Que se sepa la verdad de Venezuela, que se sepa que no somos un país de narcotraficantes, que el presidente Nicolás Maduro y la primera combatiente (Cilia Flores) son inocentes”, manifestó la mandataria encargada en un acto en Caracas.
