Con el objetivo de promover el manejo responsable de los residuos y fortalecer la cultura ambiental en la ciudad, la Dirección General de Servicios Públicos Municipales, a través de la Dirección de Limpia, invita a los juarenses a sumarse al programa Juárez Renovado, enfocado en la recolección diferenciada de residuos orgánicos.
El titular de la Dirección de Limpia, Gibran Solís Kanahan, informó en conferencia de prensa que el programa ha registrado resultados positivos gracias a la participación ciudadana, logrando una adecuada separación y disposición de los residuos orgánicos.
De acuerdo con los registros, durante los últimos meses se recolectaron 638.51 toneladas de residuos orgánicos. 161.80 fueron recolectadas en septiembre, 185.90 en octubre, 145.17 en noviembre, 109.01 en diciembre y 36.63 toneladas en enero.
El funcionario destacó que estos resultados permiten reducir la cantidad de desechos enviados a disposición final, además de impulsar prácticas más sustentables que contribuyen al cuidado del medio ambiente y al orden urbano.
Asimismo, subrayó que la recolección diferenciada mejora el aprovechamiento de los residuos, disminuye el impacto ambiental y fortalece las estrategias de limpieza en la ciudad, por lo que agradeció la participación de los ciudadanos que ya forman parte del programa.
Solís Kanahan señaló que el objetivo es ampliar el programa a nuevas rutas de recolección y a fraccionamientos de reciente creación, replicando el modelo de participación comunitaria que se implementó con éxito en Valle del Sol, mediante la socialización del programa y el involucramiento directo de los vecinos.
En este sentido, hizo un llamado a la ciudadanía interesada en integrarse a Juárez Renovado, a solicitar el programa directamente ante la Dirección de Limpia, donde personal de la dependencia acudirá a dialogar con los vecinos, explicar el funcionamiento y coordinar la incorporación a las rutas de recolección diferenciada ya existentes.
El funcionario reiteró que la participación ciudadana es fundamental para consolidar este programa y avanzar hacia un Juárez más limpio, ordenado y comprometido con el medio ambiente.
