Santiago de la Peña, secretario general de Gobierno, exhortó ha no politizar los temas de seguridad tras los señalamientos de legisladores priistas sobre el abandono a pueblos indígenas.
Sin embargo, dijo que es un asunto que debe abordarse con responsabilidad y colaboración. También destacó que hay temas fundamentales para cualquier sociedad, como la seguridad, que requieren trabajo conjunto entre los tres niveles de gobierno.
Señaló que ese ha sido el enfoque constante de la actual administración estatal, y mencionó que la gobernadora mantiene el compromiso de velar por los derechos de la población. Afirmó que la coordinación con el Gobierno Federal debe garantizarse para todas las regiones del estado, incluyendo la zona serrana e indígena.
