Lo anterior se dio durante su intervención en el Senado por el asesinato del alcalde de Uruapan, Michoacán el pasado fin de semana en un acto público.
También lanzó críticas al senador Esquer, pidiéndole explicar “qué pactos hicieron con los narcos de Michoacán”.
Mientras hablaba, la presidenta del Senado, Laura Castillo, la interrumpió tres veces para ofrecer preguntas, pero Téllez decidió continuar. Al final, cuando pidió responder, su tiempo había concluido.
