La Secretaría de Seguridad Pública del Estado (SSPE), a través de la Policía Vial, hace un llamado a la ciudadanía a extremar precauciones ante las bajas temperaturas que han generado el congelamiento de diversas vialidades, lo que pone en riesgo la seguridad de los conductores.
Durante la mañana del 10 de enero se registraron varios incidentes viales en la zona sur y norte de la ciudad, específicamente en la gaza del Circuito Universitario, el periférico de la Juventud, vía Sicilia, el puente de Zootecnia, calle 120 en Lombardo Toledano a la altura del entronque con Vitromex, así como en la avenida Homero y periférico de la Juventud.
De acuerdo con la Subsecretaría de Movilidad, todos estos accidentes fueron ocasionados principalmente por el exceso de velocidad, factor que, combinado con el pavimento congelado, aumenta significativamente el riesgo de siniestros.
Como parte del operativo de contingencia, elementos de la SSPE trabajan activamente en el esparcimiento de sal en las zonas afectadas por el hielo, además de llevar a cabo labores de desvío, control del tráfico y asistencia a los ciudadanos.
La SSPE reitera el llamado a conducir con precaución, respetar los límites de velocidad y atender los señalamientos viales para garantizar una movilidad segura y evitar accidentes.
