Tras los señalamientos del Departamento del Tesoro de Estados Unidos contra la diputada morenista Hilda Araceli Brown, por estar relacionada supuestamente con el Cártel de Sinaloa, la Presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum aseguró que no hay pruebas suficientes.
La mandataria informó que la Unidad de Inteligencia Financiera (UIF) tuvo conocimiento del caso semanas antes.
“Tuvo conocimiento la UIF algunas semanas antes, pidieron que pudiera ser conjunto, de nuestro lado no hay pruebas suficientes para establecer el lavado de dinero que ellos plantean, entonces fue una decisión de las instituciones del Gobierno de Estados Unidos.
“Tendrían que presentar ellos las pruebas, Estados Unidos, si Estados Unidos presenta las pruebas, aquí en todo caso se hace lo propio, se abre una investigación en la Fiscalía, no presentaron las pruebas suficientes para que la UIF pudiera congelar desde aquí las cuentas”, sostuvo en Palacio Nacional.
