Al ser cuestionada sobre el abogado Juan Pablo Penilla, presuntamente ligado a “El Mayo” Zambada, la presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum, aseguró que ella no lo conoce y que durante sus giras se toma fotos con muchísimas personas con respecto a una imagen que circula en redes sociales.
“Es garantizarle al pueblo de México que nosotros no establecemos relaciones de complicidad con nadie. Que la fiscalía investigue y se llegue a las últimas consecuencias con quien sea”, agregó.
El presidente de la Cámara de Diputados, Sergio Gutiérrez, informó que en 2023 el PAN reconoció la trayectoria profesional como abogado de Juan Pablo Penilla y lo distinguió como “Embajador por la Paz”.
