El coordinador del Grupo Parlamentario de Movimiento Ciudadano, ofreció una conferencia de prensa en Ciudad Juárez, para exponer los avances de la iniciativa que propuso para establecer el delito de narcoterrorismo en el Código Penal.
“Urge replantearse no sólo la estrategia de seguridad y quitar el ominoso y cómplice abrazos no balazos, sino empezar a llamar las cosas por su gravedad y su nombre: narcoterrorismo. Ciudad Juárez ha padecido por años el narcoterrorismo”, afirmó.

El legislador chihuahuense indicó que esta iniciativa presentada desde el pasado 2022 ha avanzado en el Congreso del Estado por lo que este viernes 31 de enero se celebrará la Mesa Técnica para el análisis del Narcoterrorismo, a fin de lograr un dictamen donde se involucre el conocimiento y perspectiva de especialistas en materia de seguridad internacional y combate al narcoterrorismo.
Francisco Sánchez explicó que mediante el establecimiento del Narcoterrorismo en el Código Penal se considerarían como actos narcoterroristas las acciones o amenazas de realizar dichas acciones dirigidas a la población con el objetivo de causar temor, provocar alarma, atentar contra la seguridad pública o presionar a la autoridad o a un particular para que tome una determinación.
