En un esfuerzo por apoyar a los ciudadanos y fortalecer la gestión del recurso hídrico en el estado de Chihuahua, la Junta Central de Agua y Saneamiento (JCAS) lanzó el programa “Ciérrale a tu adeudo”, una iniciativa diseñada para ayudar a usuarios en situación de cartera vencida a regularizar sus pagos pendientes de agua, drenaje y saneamiento.
El programa estará vigente del 15 de noviembre de 2024 al 28 de febrero de 2025 y ofrecerá descuentos significativos en multas, recargos, adeudos de agua, drenaje y saneamiento, acorde al tipo de usuario, tiempo de rezago y mes en el que se realice el pago.
Los descuentos son los siguientes:
- Noviembre 2024: 100% en multas y recargos, 90% en adeudo
- Diciembre 2024: 95% en multas y recargos, 80% en adeudo
- Enero 2025: 90% en multas y recargos, 70% en adeudo
- Febrero 2025: 85% en multas y recargos, 60% en adeudo
“Ciérrale a tu adeudo” contempla facilidades de pago para usuarios con rezagos de más de un año que no hayan recibido beneficios de programas similares desde 2022, incentivándolos para que regularicen su situación.
Además, la implementación de este esquema se llevará a cabo en coordinación con las 49 Juntas Operadoras en el estado, permitiendo que personas de diversos municipios se beneficien de las oportunidades de pago.
El plan tiene gran impacto social y económico, ya que facilita la regularización de pagos y fortalece a las Juntas Municipales y Rurales, permitiéndoles aumentar la inversión en obras de agua potable y alcantarillado sanitario para 2025.
Con estas acciones no solo mejorará la calidad de los servicios, sino que también ampliará su cobertura, beneficiando a miles de familias y establecimientos comerciales o industriales en el estado.
La JCAS reitera la importancia de utilizar el agua de manera responsable y pagar a tiempo para evitar el agotamiento de este recurso esencial.
