La presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum anunció que será este lunes 8 de septiembre cuando la Secretaría de Hacienda y Crédito Público (SHCP) empiece una nueva ronda de pagos para los proveedores de Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex).
El saldo de la deuda se hará a través de un instrumento financiero conocido como Notas Estructuradas Pre Capitalizadas que el gobierno de México emitió por 12 mil millones de dólares con vencimiento al 2030.
“Pemex tiene un gran problema y es la deuda del periodo neoliberal y particularmente de (Felipe) Calderón y (Enrique) Peña Nieto”, afirmó la mandataria.
Sheinbaum señaló que la deuda de la petrolera pasó de 46 mil millones de dólares a 60 mil millones de dólares, mientras la producción del combustible se reducía.
En ese sentido, la mandataria afirmó que la deuda de Pemex deberá de ser saldada, pero que todas deben de ser pagadas con amortizaciones que ascienden a 300 mil millones de pesos.
La presidenta añadió que Hacienda cubre una parte de los vencimientos porque tiene menores tasas y una mayor posibilidad de desarrollarlo en el mercado.
“Le ayuda a Pemex y aunque hay una parte que es del gobierno federal, pues finalmente como estado mexicano es una muy buena transacción (…) lo que ahora se hizo es considerar todos esos vencimientos, los refinanciamientos que se pueden hacer de toda esa deuda y además salir adelante con la empresa”, explicó.
Cabe recordar que el pasado 19 de junio, Sheinbaum afirmó que ya se habían salado 147 mil millones de pesos en deuda a proveedores, después de que amagaran con hacer un paro ante la falta de pagos.
Posteriormente, el 30 de julio, el gobierno de México concretó una emisión internacional de Notas Estructuradas Pre Capitalizadas (P-Caps) por 12 mil millones de dólares, con vencimiento en 2030; se recibió una demanda total de 23 mil 400 millones de dólares por parte de 295 inversionistas institucionales de todo el mundo.
