El Presidente Municipal, Cruz Pérez Cuéllar, acudió como invitado especial a la ceremonia de graduación del Instituto de Ingeniería y Tecnología (IIT) y del Instituto de Arquitectura, Diseño y Arte (IADA), de la Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez (UACJ).
El alcalde felicitó a los 202 graduados de IADA y 316 del IIT, por su gran desempeño.
Por su parte, el rector de la UACJ, Daniel Alberto Constandse Cortez, exhortó a los nuevos profesionistas a que realicen su mejor labor.
“Muchas felicidades por lo que han logrado por su perseverancia, dedicación y su esfuerzo, es un orgullo que estén aquí, ya que lo han logrado”, destacó.
Resaltó que es un día muy especial que no van a olvidar ya que es el inicio de una nueva aventura llena de desafíos.
“Todos ustedes están preparados para enfrentar cualquier reto que se les presente, ya que han demostrado su capacidad con su trabajo constante en cada una de sus materias de su carrera”, mencionó el rector.
“Nunca se rindan, persigan sus sueños, muchas gracias y muchas felicidades a todas y a todos”, indicó.
La alumna Angelica Portillo, del programa de Artes Visuales, expresó unas emotivas palabras para sus compañeros graduados.
“Hoy se cierra un capítulo de nuestra etapa universitaria que recordaremos con gran nostalgia, pero inicia un gran recorrido… Compañeros vean a su alrededor los rostros que estuvieron con ustedes todo este tiempo y que les agradezcan por qué nos sostuvieron en este gran trayecto”, dijo.
Los honores a la Bandera se llevaron a cabo por parte de la escolta y banda de guerra de la UACJ.
Un total de 518 profesionistas de IIT y IADA culminaron hoy sus estudios con gran entusiasmo.
Acudieron a la ceremonia, Fausto Aguirre, director de IADA; Edwin Martínez, director de IIT; Guadalupe Aguirre, secretaria académica de la universidad así como Maurilio Fuentes, subsecretario de Educación y Deporte en la Zona Norte.
