En el marco de la Cruzada por el Reciclaje, el Presidente Municipal, Cruz Pérez Cuéllar, invitó a la ciudadanía a participar llevando los residuos sólidos, urbanos y de manejo especial al acopio y de esta forma, ser parte del cuidado del medio ambiente.
El evento se lleva a cabo en el estacionamiento del Centro Comercial Plaza Juárez Mall, donde el alcalde destacó que el tema del medio ambiente es de suma relevancia para la ciudad y el mundo entero.
Mencionó que el cambio climático es una realidad y la amenaza que tiene la humanidad es precisamente el deterioro del medio ambiente, por lo cual es importante hacer todo lo posible para detener ese daño.
Acompañado de su esposa y presidenta del DIF, Rubí Enríquez Parada, el edil celebró que la Dirección de Ecología esté pendiente y buscando involucrar no sólo a organismos, sino también a la sociedad civil para que se lleven a cabo las Cruzadas por el Reciclaje.
“Entre más gente tome conciencia y pueda reciclar y apoyar en el cuidado del medio ambiente, va a ser bueno para todos, pero sobre todo para los más jóvenes a quienes les vamos a heredar este estado, este país y este mundo, invitamos a que más gente se acerque a reciclar”, señaló.
El evento consiste en el acopio de residuos sólidos urbanos y de manejo especial generados en las viviendas, a fin de darles la disposición adecuada.
La ciudadanía puede llevar pilas alcalinas, baterías eléctricas, basura electrónica, papel, plástico y cartón, además de aceite de motor y cocina, solventes, llantas, medicamento caduco, pintura, tóner, focos fluorescentes, aluminio y vidrio; éste último puede ser en botellas, frascos o envases.
El director de Ecología, César René Díaz Gutiérrez, agradeció a los organismos, instituciones educativas, catedráticos, empresas y a la Unión de Yonkeros por formar parte de este programa.
Indicó que esta es la décima Cruzada por el Reciclaje y la primera del 2025, por lo que hoy estarán recibiendo el material y mostrando a través de distintos módulos, el cuidado del medio ambiente.
Dijo que mañana continuará la jornada en horario de 9:00 de la mañana a 5:00 de la tarde; además del acopio se estarán realizando varias actividades como zumba y rifa de bicicletas.
“Esperamos que sea una jornada exitosa, que se recolecten bastantes residuos y que además Juárez sea punta de lanza”, señaló el funcionario.
En el evento estuvieron estudiantes de la Escuela Primaria Antonio J. Bermúdez y del Colegio de Bachilleres plantel 7, quienes disfrutaron del teatro guiñol y de otras actividades.
En el lugar se instaló un punto de revisión vehicular para expedir el engomado ecológico y puntos de recolección específica para cada tipo de residuos, además se cuenta con pláticas sobre medio ambiente.
Uno de los módulos es de la Unión de Yonkeros, por lo que están comprando metal e incluso reciben vehículos chatarra.
Quienes acudan pueden llevar los residuos en envases o empaques. No se aceptarán residuos de negocios ni tampoco aquellos radioactivos, explosivos ni basura común.
Durante el arranque de la Cruzada por el Reciclaje estuvieron la presidenta del DIF Municipal, Rubí Enríquez; la síndica Municipal, Ana Carmen Estrada y la regidora Laura Fernanda Ávalos, además de Héctor Lozoya, en representación de la Unión de Yonkeros.
También estuvieron directores y regidores, así como representantes de la Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez (UACJ) y de la Comisión Estatal de los Derechos Humanos, además de otros organismos.
En la Cruzada por el Reciclaje participaron empresas como Avenida Demin, Silice, Manejos Integrales Ecológicos, Brokers Servicios Sustentables, Chihuahua Recyclers Cluster, Recicladora de Desechos Industriales Tradeo, Selic, Transquímica Binacional, la Junta Municipal de Agua y Saneamiento, la Unión de Yonkeros y Miss Chihuahua.
La Cruzada cuenta con módulos para área de pláticas, exposición de bichitos y con información de la Comisión Nacional de Áreas Naturales Protegidas (CONANP), Bioexperimenta A.C y Ecología con Conciencia (ECON).
