Un grupo de ciudadanos presentó este jueves ante el Instituto Electoral del Estado de Sinaloa (IEES) una solicitud de revocación de mandato para cesar de su cargo al gobernador Rubén Rocha Moya, esto por los problemas de inseguridad que enfrenta la entidad desde el mes de septiembre.
Representantes del grupo Ciudadanos Organizados por Sinaloa iniciaron el proceso de revocación para sentar un precedente y esperan que más ciudadano se unan a esta solicitud.
“Es una urgencia quitar al gobernador Rocha Moya, es una necesidad que miles de empresarios, miles de ciudadanos están pidiendo que por favor se ponga orden en Sinaloa, y lamentablemente este gobernador no pudo lograr lo que los ciudadanos querían un mejor Sinaloa”, dijo uno de los representantes del grupo.
Posteriormente, el presidente del IEES, Arturo Fajardo Mejía, explicó en una entrevista con medios que de acuerdo a la ley, los ciudadanos que quieran promover la revocación de mandato deben presentar su solicitud dentro de los tres meses posteriores a que concluya la mitad del mandato, esa fecha sería el 31 de octubre del presente año.
Fajardo Mejía detalló que los escritos que fueron presentados deben ser revisados por el instituto electoral para comprobar si proceden.
Para que se pueda desarrollar una jornada electoral y decidir sobre la revocación de mandato, se requiere que la solicitud esté acompañada por al menos las firmas del 10% de la ciudadanía inscrita en la lista nominal de Sinaloa, alrededor 240 mil personas, distribuidas en 11 municipios, indicó Fajardo Mejía
En tanto, el gobernador de Sinaloa visitó la Ciudad de México, donde mantuvo reuniones con legisladores de Morena en el Senado y en la Cámara de Diputados, además con la secretaría de Gobernación, Rosa Icela Rodríguez.
