El titular de la Fiscalía General del Estado (FGE), César Jáuregui Moreno, aseguró que los centros de población de Coyame, Manuel Benavides y Ojinaga, están “totalmente resguardados”.
Lo anterior, luego de que un nuevo hecho de violencia ocurriera la mañana de este viernes 20 de septiembre, en el que al menos 11 personas fueron encontradas sin vida, con signos de tortura, y un par de ellas decapitadas, en muncipio ojinaguense, que es frontera con Texas, Estados Unidos.
Jaúregui Moreno aseveró que desde tempranas horas se mantiene la presencia de los cuerpos de seguridad federales y estatales, como la Guardia Nacional, Ejército Mexicano, Secretaría de Seguridad Pública del Estado, Policía Municipal, y la Agencia Estatal de Investigación de la FGE.
Durante una atención a los medios de comunicación en el Palacio de Gobierno, tras el hallazgo de personas sin vida en la ciudad de Ojinaga, el fiscal reiteró que los elementos continuarán en la zona, hasta que “todo esté absolutamente normalizado”.
En relación con las indagatorias, explicó que se trata de “un asunto complejo, ya que pudo tratarse de la incursión de algún grupo del crimen organizado de fuera del estado en la disputa por el territorio, toda vez que se trata de una zona estratégica por ser frontera”.
A su vez, el secretario general de Gobierno del Estado, Santiago de la Peña Grajeda, dio a conocer que el tema fue abordado de manera inmediata por la Mesa de Seguridad, y se determinó que sea la FGE la que coordine los trabaja en la zona.
Lo anterior, para abordar la estrategia de “manera integral”, en coordinación con las fuerzas federales, ya que es parte de la violencia que se ha desarrollado en los últimos días.
El funcionario comentó que se valora si de nueva cuenta será trasladada la sede semanal de la reunión de la Mesa de Seguridad, a Ojinaga, aunque “no necesitamos reunirnos de manera presencial, siempre estamos enlazados y al pendiente”.
“Lo más importante es atenderlos en el lugar de los hechos más que buscar una reunión presencial. Las fuerzas de seguridad están en el lugar y hacen presencia en todos los otros lugares donde deben de estar apostados”, concluyó.
El Ayuntamiento de Ojinaga (PAN) emitió un comunicado, a nombre de la alcaldesa Lucy Marrufo Acosta, en el que pide tranquilidad a la población, pues asegura que existe el apoyo de las fuerzas federales y estatales, además de que la Policía Municipal está ampliamente capacitada para actuar de manera puntual como primeros respondientes.
Abonó a que la población atienda solo los canales oficiales, y a “no alimentar la desinformación y la intranquilidad de las familias. El gobierno municipal de Ojinaga trabaja para recobrar el orden”.
