A pesar de la incertidumbre sobre la cantidad y el destino de las personas inmigrantes que serían deportadas masivamente de Estados Unidos a mediados de enero próximo, el Gobierno del Estado de Chihuahua está preparado con las instalaciones y logística, afirmó el secretario general, Santiago De la Peña Grajeda.
“Hemos estado trabajando de la mano, todas las autoridades federales involucradas, Instituto Nacional de Migración, nosotros, Sedena, Guardia Nacional, Segegob, SSPE, FGE, DIF Estatal, Coespo, y creemos que tenemos la capacidad instalada, suficiente, y además la capacidad de reaccionar rápido”, declaró este jueves.
No obstante, el titular de la Secretaría General de Gobierno (Segegob), admitió que estos últimos días encendieron un “foco amarillo”, ante el incremento del flujo migratorio que fue detectado en varios municipios de la entidad, comparado con la tendencia estable e incluso a la baja de los últimos 8 meses del año.
“Se había ya prácticamente eliminado, la posibilidad de que llegaran estos migrantes, aprovechando el tren, o viajando de manera irregular, en el tren, y en los últimos días hemos visto cómo aparece nuevamente, camino hacia la frontera norte de nuestro país”, comentó.
Admitió que si bien la entidad está preparada, es un movimiento que llama a las autoridades involucradas en el tema, a estar más atentas, en todos los niveles de gobierno.
“Recordemos que ya el año pasado tuvimos una crisis severa del flujo de migrantes, entiendo que el Gobierno Federal ha reforzado en las medidas en la frontera sur, hace unos días también la semana anterior se anunció que se había interceptado un gran grupo de migrantes, nada más (se necesita) redoblar esfuerzos y estar al pendiente”, dijo.
De la Peña subrayó que cualquier acción siempre debe respetar los derechos humanos de las personas en situación de movilidad, pero “también entendiendo que nuestra primera prioridad es cuidar el bien, el bienestar, y la seguridad de los habitantes del estado de Chihuahua”.
Asentó que el funcionariado estatal, junto con la gobernadora Maru Campos, está a la expectativa que la Federación resuelva el problema en la frontera sur, para que no se transforme en una nueva crisis, pues ya se vivió el potencial que tiene la llegada en grandes números de las y los inmigrantes.
Además, la amenaza del Presidente electo de los Estados Unidos, de una deportación masiva, anunciada desde su campaña electoral, resultaría “caótico” el que no sea solo de sur a norte, sino de norte a sur, sobre todo para algunas ciudades de todo el país, y en el caso de Chihuahua para Ojinaga, Ciudad Juárez, y probablemente Janos.
“Entonces hay que estar preparados y atentos, trabajando en coordinación con los estados y los municipios. De todas formas frente a lo incierto que pudiera ser esta expulsión de migrantes tenemos que ver la capacidad de recibirlos en nuestro país, adeáms no se sabe si van a regresar solo a con acciónales o si van a repatriar a los de otros países”, concluyó.
