El gobernador de Michoacán, Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla anunció el lanzamiento del primer polo de desarrollo en esa entidad con una inversión inicial de mil millones de pesos proveniente de la Organización Ramírez -propietaria de Cinépolis – a través de su empresa Citelis. Dijo que este desarrollo se denominará Parque Bajío que se asentará en el municipio de Zinapécuaro, cercano a Morelia.
Informó que este Parque Bajío se conecta directamente vía ferrocarril con el puerto de Lázaro Cárdenas donde se están ampliando las terminales logísticas de contenedores con una inversión conjunta de 4 mil millones de pesos. Se encuentra a cinco minutos del aeropuerto de Morelia, por lo que contará con los servicios aduaneros de primera mano. Expresó su confianza con la iniciativa privada de Michoacán para poner en marcha este primer polo de desarrollo de Michoacán.
Por su parte, Eduardo Ramírez, director de Citelis, dijo que este polo de desarrollo que arrancará con la inversión de este grupo se alinea con el Plan México.
