El Gobierno Municipal de Juárez, a través de la Dirección de Desarrollo Económico y en colaboración con distintas instituciones y organizaciones culturales, presentó este día la convocatoria oficial para el Desfile de Día de Muertos 2025, que se llevará a cabo el 1 de noviembre a las 5:00 de la tarde, con recorrido desde la Plaza Comercial Río Grande rumbo al Paseo Juan Gabriel.
La directora de Desarrollo Económico, Tania Maldonado, destacó en conferencia de prensa que este desfile se ha consolidado como un espacio de tradición y encuentro comunitario: “Es muy importante contar con la participación de visitantes y familias que puedan disfrutar de este evento que honra nuestras raíces y fortalece el sentido de identidad”.
Por su parte, Magda Rodríguez, directora creativa del desfile, detalló que esta será la cuarta edición y que las convocatorias están abiertas para toda la comunidad, familias, escuelas, empresas y colectivos que deseen integrarse con carros alegóricos, comparsas, altares o el esperado concurso de catrinas, que este año contará con premios gracias al apoyo de la Asociación de Hoteles y Moteles.
Además, se lanzó una invitación especial a creativos, artesanos y diseñadores para participar en la propuesta del arco de bienvenida ubicado en el Paseo Juan Gabriel, que será seleccionado mediante concurso y premiado.
En su intervención, Francisco Moreno, director de Turismo de la Dirección de Desarrollo Económico, subrayó que este desfile ya es parte de las nuevas tradiciones de la ciudad.
“La celebración de Día de Muertos es una expresión de nuestra cultura y folklore mexicano; por ello, queremos que tanto la comunidad juarense como visitantes de El Paso y Las Cruces vivan esta experiencia. En esta edición, además, se contará con un pabellón del pan de muerto, bebidas tradicionales y actividades complementarias que enriquecerán la festividad”, explicó.
El desfile, organizado bajo la iniciativa “Amor Eternamente Muerto”, busca reunir a miles de asistentes en un ambiente de arte, cultura y convivencia familiar.
