Víctor Rodríguez Padilla, director de Pemex, presentó el plan de trabajo para Petróleos Mexicanos y explicó los seis ejes fundamentales en el plan de trabajo, que contemplan exploración, producción sustentable, autosuficiencia y logística.
En el caso de la producción, el director de Pemex adelantó que se producirán 1.8 millones de barriles diarios de hidrocarburos y no más de esa cantidad.
La secretaria de Energía, Luz Elena González Escobar, reafirmó que Pemex tendrá a partir de su reforma primera mano en las tareas de exploración y explotación, a diferencia de sexenios anteriores.
Es decir, Pemex tiene la facultad siempre de decidir sobre la explotación, y pude recurrir al sector privado cuando así lo considere para compartir costos o por condiciones extremas.
