Chihuahua, Chih., Con el objetivo de frenar prácticas de presión y coacción al interior del Poder Legislativo, la diputada Rosana Díaz presentó una iniciativa para reformar la Ley Orgánica del Congreso del Estado y garantizar la libertad y secrecía del voto parlamentario, especialmente en las votaciones por cédula.
“Esta iniciativa nace porque hemos visto intentos claros de vulnerar la voluntad de las y los diputados, mediante la exhibición del sentido de su voto. Eso no es transparencia, es presión, y atenta contra la democracia”, expresó la legisladora.
La propuesta establece que toda votación por cédula debe realizarse en condiciones reales de secrecía, y que cualquier intento de revelar el voto antes de su depósito o ejercer presión sobre legisladores será motivo para declarar inválido el proceso.
“Sin libertad en el voto no hay democracia. Nadie puede ser obligado, vigilado o exhibido para influir en su decisión. El voto debe ser libre, personal y secreto”, sostuvo.
Asimismo, la iniciativa fortalece las atribuciones de la Mesa Directiva para garantizar un ejercicio parlamentario sin presiones ni simulaciones.
“Lo que estamos proponiendo es cerrar la puerta a prácticas que distorsionan la voluntad popular. No podemos permitir que intereses mezquinos se impongan sobre la representación legítima del pueblo”, afirmó.
Finalmente, Rosana Díaz subrayó que esta reforma representa un paso firme para defender la dignidad legislativa, la legalidad y la autenticidad de las decisiones que se toman en el Congreso de Chihuahua.
