Esta semana se realizó la segunda reunión de mesa técnica para redactar los artículos del Código Civil del Estado de Chihuahua, que establecerían el derecho de las personas al matrimonio igualitario, para parejas del mismo sexo.
A través de la Comisión de Igualdad, presidida por la diputada Irlanda Márquez del Partido del Trabajo, y junto con los colectivos de la diversidad sexual y demás diputadas integrantes de la Comisión, se llevaron a cabo los primeros trabajos.
“Esta mesa es un avance histórico en nuestro estado de Chihuahua, ya que es la primera vez que se les da voz a las personas de la diversidad, a quienes representan esta lucha colectiva para participar activamente en estos espacios de análisis y toma de decisiones en la redacción de las leyes para garantizarles sus derechos, como el derecho a casarse,” dijo la legisladora petista.
En la mesa técnica analizaron aspectos clave para reformar el Código Civil en cuanto a la iniciativa en materia de matrimonio igualitario.
Con la presencia de varias diputadas del Congreso del Estado, colectivas de diferentes municipios, así como personal de asesoría legislativa, se dieron a la tarea de redactar lo que les garantizará a todas las personas poder acceder a su derecho al matrimonio.
“Este es un derecho fundamental que hoy estamos haciendo realidad a través de la Comisión de Igualdad, con dos proyectos presentados, uno de una servidora y otro de la Fracción Parlamentaria de Morena; trabajamos por un estado más inclusivo y justo para todas las personas, sin importar su orientación sexual”, finalizó.
