Como un referente de superación y valores positivos que el deporte impacta en sociedad, Chihuahua Capital contará con un busto del campeón mexicano Julio César Chávez como un homenaje en vida al boxeador.
El busto se instalará en el Polideportivo Luis H. Álvarez la primera semana de febrero, impulsado por promotores en el estado con el respaldo del Gobierno Municipal de Chihuahua.
La leyenda del boxeo mexicano, Julio César Chávez visitará la ciudad de Chihuahua para la develación de escultura.
El impulso a este homenaje tiene como objetivo la historia de un legado deportivo y un mensaje de vida de superación personal como ejemplo de esfuerzo, recuperación y aprendizaje, siendo Chihuahua cuna de boxeadores.
