El líder de los senadores de Morena, Adán Augusto López Hernández, reconoció que conoce desde hace cinco años al empresario Juan Pablo Vega Arriaga, quien es señalado por el financiamiento de 21 millones de dólares a manos del Banco Nacional de Comercio Exterior (Bancomext) para una naviera que es investigada por huachicol fiscal.

“Efectivamente conozco a Juan Pablo Vega Arriaga, somos conocidos desde hace cinco o seis años. Es un empresario a quien conozco, porque mantiene negocios con Petróleos Mexicanos, contratos no desde hace uno o dos sexenios, entiendo que desde hace mucho más tiempo. Es uno de los empresarios que tiene una de las navieras más importantes, si no es que la más importante del país.
