Con el objetivo de reconocer a aquellos policías que durante el 2024 realizaron acciones que van más allá del deber, el próximo jueves 2 de enero se llevará a cabo la entrega del “Premio Municipal al Policía del Año Edición 2024” en Sesión de Cabildo.
Este reconocimiento es promovido por parte de la Comisión Edilicia de Seguridad Pública, la cual es integrada por los regidores Mireya Porras Armendáriz, Eduardo Valenzuela Martínez y María Dolores Adame Alvarado.
Porras Armendáriz dio a conocer que se reunieron con el secretario de Seguridad Pública Municipal, César Omar Muñoz Morales, personal de esa dependencia, la Contraloría y del Fideicomiso para la Competitividad y Seguridad Ciudadana (Ficosec), para determinar a las y los elementos que por sus actos más allá del deber serán reconocidos con el galardón.
Para ello se revisaron los archivos de los agentes propuestos, a fin de evaluar su desempeño diario, así como aquellos actos extraordinarios, heroicos y más allá del deber de las y los elementos de Seguridad Pública.
Después de analizar las acciones de los policías, determinaron elegir a seis de ellos que por sus actos merecen el galardón, dijo la regidora.
Se trata de hombres y mujeres que salen de sus casas, dejan a sus familias para cuidar a las de la comunidad juarenses; son elementos que llevan a cabo su trabajo con compromiso, amor y responsabilidad.
“Son elementos que dan su vida a cambio de defender a los juarenses”, expresó.
A ellos hay que reconocerlos y por ello serán premiados en Sesión de Cabildo, donde también se les entregará una prima económica de 50 mil pesos, todo esto en el marco del Día del Policía.
