La Secretaría de Seguridad y Protección Ciudadana (SSPC) reveló que algunos de los 29 reos entregados a Estados Unidos tenían acuerdos con jueces.
Omar García Harfuch, titular de la dependencia, detalló que la entrega de los mexicanos fue motivada por información sobre que existía riesgo de que algunos fueran liberados o retrasados sus procesos de extradición.
“El Gabinete de Seguridad cuenta con información de acuerdos con algunos jueces que buscaban favorecerlos, como ya se había hecho en otras ocasiones y durante muchos años”, indicó.
Los 29 reos, entre ellos Rafael Caro Quintero, eran requeridos en Estados Unidos por delitos de alto impacto como delincuencia organizada, trasiego de drogas, homicidio, tráfico de armas y secuestro, entre otros.
García Harfuch calificó la entrega como un acto de autoridad sin precedentes, resultado de la política de seguridad del Gobierno de México.
