La Comisión Nacional Forestal (Conafor) en Chihuahua informó que al día de hoy, al corte de las 09:00 se registraron 6 incendios forestales activos, de los cuales uno se encuentra controlado al 100%.
Estos incendios afectan una superficie preliminar de 8 mil 365 hectáreas, y son atendidos por 142 personas combatientes.
Los incendios se ubican en los siguientes municipios: dos en el municipio de Guachochi; uno en el municipio de Casas Grandes; uno en el municipio de Uruachi, uno en el municipio de Morelos y uno en el municipio de Guadalupe y Calvo.
Con relación al incendio forestal en el Ejido Vicente Guerrero, en un predio particular en la colonia Ignacio Zaragoza de Campo Nuevo en Casas Grandes, se informa que se encuentra controlado al 85 por ciento y es atendido por 3 combatientes oficiales de la Comisión Nacional Forestal (Conafor), 10 de Protección Forestal Municipal, 14 elementos de la Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional (Defensa), 17 combatientes de Gobierno del Estado, 2 personas de protección civil municipal, 14 personas voluntarios.
Se recuerda a la población en general que en caso de visitar algún área forestal, evitar el uso del fuego, no dejar basura y no arroje colillas de cigarro encendidas.
