Integrantes del Comité de Inversiones del Fideicomiso de Puentes Fronterizos aprobaron la ampliar la prolongación de la avenida De las Torres, en el tramo de la avenida Manuel Talamás Camandari a la calle Yepómera.
El Alcalde y Presidente del Comité, Cruz Pérez Cuéllar, mencionó que se trata de una obra muy importante para los juarenses, ya que contribuirá a agilizar el tráfico vehicular en esa zona al suroriente de la ciudad.
Detalló que ahora que el Comité de Inversiones ha aprobado la obra, será el Comité Técnico del Fideicomiso de Puentes Fronterizos quien lo analice y seguramente aprobará el proyecto.
De ser así, la ampliación de la avenida se estará inaugurando este mismo año, ya que se estima que los trabajos demorarán aproximadamente seis meses, por la magnitud del proyecto.
Detalló que el enorme flujo vehicular requiere la ampliación de la avenida De las Torres, ya que el tráfico se registra durante todo el día, por ello previamente se había platicado el tema con la Gobernadora María Eugenia Campos, acordando que los trabajos se realicen entre el Gobierno Municipal y Gobierno del Estado a través del Fideicomiso de Puentes Fronterizos.
