El secretario general de Gobierno, Santiago de la Peña Grajeda, aseguró que hasta el momento, 22 unidades del sistema de transporte BRT en Ciudad Juárez han sido retiradas de circulación, por no cumplir con lo establecido en la ley. Recordó que aproximadamente el 50% de los propietarios de estas unidades han propuesto la incorporación de vehículos que cumplen con los criterios de modelo de año.
Señaló que actualmente, 104 unidades nuevas operan en el BRT 2, ajustándose a la demanda creciente de usuarios. Además, se trabaja en la integración de las rutas alimentadoras para optimizar la movilidad en el sistema.
El gobierno estatal mantiene operativos para supervisar el cumplimiento de las normas en el transporte público. Esto incluye verificar que los conductores cumplan con los turnos establecidos. La intención es evitar jornadas excesivas que puedan afectar la seguridad de los pasajeros y peatones.
