La presidenta de México, Claudia Sheinbaum calificó de “terrible” el incendio registrado en una tienda comercial del Centro de Hermosillo y afirmó que el Gobierno brinda apoyo a las víctimas mientras la Fiscalía de Sonora realiza las investigaciones y peritajes para esclarecer los hechos.
La mandataria señaló que, desde primera hora, se mantuvo en contacto con el gobernador Alfonso Durazo para coordinar acciones de atención.
Añadió que la fiscalía estatal conduce los peritajes para determinar causas y responsables, al tiempo que las instancias de protección civil y seguridad continúan con labores de verificación de daños y asistencia.
El siniestro provocó la muerte de 23 personas y decenas de lesionados y afectaciones en la zona centro, con cierres viales temporales y presencia de cuerpos de emergencia.
Comercios y transeúntes del polígono aledaño permanecen bajo medidas preventivas mientras se concluyen inspecciones de seguridad estructural.
