La presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum negó este miércoles que su administración haya abordado con su homólogo Donald Trump sobre los políticos mexicanos con presuntos nexos con los cárteles del narcotráfico.
En su conferencia en Palacio Nacional, la mandataria desestimó la publicación del diario The Wall Street Journal que afirmaba que ha aumentado el temor en el gobierno de México por la presión de Trump con peticiones que podrían incluir capturas de personajes ligados a Morena.
“Nunca se ha tocado ese tema, nunca, ni en las reuniones del acuerdo del entendimiento que se tuvo con Estados Unidos, que les damos seguimiento cada mes, nunca se ha tocado ese tema, ni en las llamadas de teléfono, ni en las reuniones”, insistió tras la pregunta de la prensa.
De acuerdo con la presidenta, en ningún momento las autoridades les han revelado si existen casos o evidencias en contra de los políticos mexicanos.
