Con la toma de protesta de quienes fueron electas y electos para representar los 33 distritos estatales electorales, en Sesión Solemne frente a las titulares de los tres poderes del Gobierno de Chihuahua, son ya legalmente diputadas y diputados de la LXVIII Legislatura para el periodo 2024-2027.
Tanto la presidenta Elizabeth Guzmán Argueta, como la Mesa Directiva, rindieron la protesta de ley, frente a la gobernadora María Eugenia Campos Galván, como titular del Poder Ejecutivo, y Myriam Hernández Acosta, titular del Poder Judicial.
De igual manera, dentro del Orden del Día se hizo la declaratoria de la instalación de la nueva Legislatura del Congreso del Estado de Chihuahua, primer el Primer Periodo Ordinario de Sesiones, al igual que se notificó que la directiva tendrá una vigencia desde hoy, 1 de septiembre al 31 agosto de 2025.
La Sexagésima Octava Legislatura está integrada por 16 diputados y 17 diputadas, de los cuales 22 fueron electos por mayoría relativa y 11 por Representación Proporcional.
