En seguimiento a la asignación de 5 millones de pesos para reactivar la operación de las Casas de Emergencia en Chihuahua y Ciudad Juárez, la diputada de Morena, Jael Argüelles Díaz, sostuvo una reunión de trabajo con el Fiscal General del Estado, César Jáuregui Moreno.
Las Casas de Emergencia brindan protección inmediata a mujeres víctimas de violencia de género y a sus hijas e hijos por un periodo breve, mientras se define su red de apoyo o traslado a un refugio. Con la asignación de 5 millones de pesos —2.5 millones del Presupuesto de Egresos para cada espacio en Chihuahua y Juárez— se cubrirán seguridad, equipamiento y gastos básicos. Actualmente, se revisan proveedores y necesidades para ponerlas en operación a la brevedad.
Tanto la diputada como el Fiscal coincidieron en que estos espacios son esenciales para ofrecer entornos seguros y respuestas efectivas ante la violencia extrema contra las mujeres, protegiendo sus derechos humanos y ampliando sus oportunidades de desarrollo.
Finalmente, Argüelles Díaz precisó que Chihuahua mantiene una deuda histórica con la vida, la integridad y el bienestar de sus mujeres y niñas, por lo que insistió en fortalecer áreas clave del presupuesto para garantizar atención integral y una verdadera perspectiva de género en la asignación de recursos.
