El gobierno del presidente de Estados Unidos, Donald Trump, ha estado presionando para que se establezca un marco legislativo único que pueda aplicarse de manera uniforme en todo el país, en lugar de dejar que los estados elaboren sus propios planes.
Trump dijo en diciembre que retirará el financiamiento federal para la banda ancha a aquellos estados cuyas leyes de regulación de la IA obstaculicen, a juicio de su administración, el dominio estadounidense en esta tecnología.
