Personal de la Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores (SRE) visitó a los mexicanos detenidos en el centro Alligator Alcatraz, ubicado en Everglades, Florida.
La visita corrió a cargo del equipo de Protección Consular del Consulado de México en Miami, informó Roberto Velasco, jefe de la Unidad para América del Norte de la Cancillería.
El equipo de la SRE se comprometió a dar seguimiento y acompañamiento a los casos de los mexicanos detenidos en Alligator Alcatraz.
El funcionario subrayó que las representaciones de México en Florida trabajarán para que si así lo requieren los mexicanos detenidos, sean repatriados a la brevedad y no pasen más tiempo en el centro de detención.
