El Gobierno Municipal abrió la convocatoria para formar parte del Consejo Ciudadano de Transparencia y Rendición de Cuentas, organismo que busca proponer la implementación de políticas públicas, vigilar el actuar del Gobierno Municipal y promover la participación ciudadana, enfocándose en temas de transparencia y rendición de cuentas.
La convocatoria ya estará abierta, y tiene como fecha límite hasta este 14 de febrero. El Consejo estará conformado por cinco ciudadanos representantes de la sociedad civil y cuatro funcionarios públicos de la administración municipal:
- Regidora o Regidor que preside la Comisión de Transparencia.
- Presidenta o Presidente del Comité de Transparencia.
- Titular del Órgano Interno de Control.
- La o el titular de la Coordinación de Transparencia, Gobierno Abierto y Archivos, quien fungirá como responsable de la Secretaría Técnica del Consejo.
Para garantizar la continuidad de los trabajos del Consejo Ciudadano, los integrantes de la sociedad civil son renovados de manera escalonada una vez concluido su periodo de consejería. En esta ocasión, se llevará a cabo la renovación de dos consejerías ciudadanas y una consejería extraordinaria por baja permanente, además de cinco suplencias.
Las funciones de los consejeros representantes de la sociedad civil son de carácter consultivo y honorífico, por lo que no forman parte del Ayuntamiento ni de las dependencias de la administración pública municipal. En ningún caso podrán asumir funciones que constitucional y legalmente corresponden al Ayuntamiento o a la Administración Pública Municipal.
