La senadora Andrea Chávez Treviño denunció que el PAN en Chihuahua está difundiendo información falsa al afirmar que la Suprema Corte de Justicia de la Nación (SCJN) obliga a aprobar el aborto hasta los nueve meses de gestación. Explicó que esta es una distorsión de lo que realmente ha determinado la Corte, que en sus resoluciones ha declarado inconstitucional criminalizar de manera absoluta a las mujeres que deciden interrumpir su embarazo y ha reconocido su derecho a recibir atención médica sin enfrentar sanciones.
“Nuevamente, el panismo chihuahuense se inventa un problema que no existe, para hacer campaña anticipada, malgastando, eso sí, millones de pesos del presupuesto público”, declaró la senadora en un video mensaje difundido en sus redes sociales.
Chávez Treviño señaló que la narrativa promovida por el PAN, en la que supuestamente la Suprema Corte pide aprobar el aborto hasta los nueve meses es totalmente falsa. “Esto es completamente absurdo, esa discusión no existe, nadie aborta a los nueve meses, no es siquiera una posibilidad porque pondría en peligro la vida de las mujeres”, explicó. Además, aclaró que, a los nueve meses, médicamente ya no se considera un aborto, sino un parto.
La senadora también criticó que, para difundir esta información errónea, el PAN utilice a “una de sus voces menos creíbles”, en referencia a su ex candidata, que afirmó haber ganado un escaño en el Senado, pero que perdió por un amplio margen de votos.
En su mensaje, Andrea Chávez destacó que esta campaña busca ocultar la falta de logros de la gobernadora, María Eugenia Campos, especialmente tras la presentación de su tercer informe de gobierno: “Que la gobernadora Maru Campos no tiene un solo logro que presumir en su tercer informe de gobierno. Que está marcada por los casos de corrupción, que su popularidad cae como nunca en las encuestas, y que en poco más de dos años, vamos a sacarlos del poder”, expresó.
Finalmente, hizo un llamado al gobierno estatal a priorizar la seguridad y el bienestar de la ciudadanía: “Si de verdad les interesa proteger la vida, empiecen por tomarse en serio su tarea de gobernar, asistiendo a las reuniones del gabinete de seguridad y cuidando de todas y de todos”, concluyó la senadora.
