Para agradecer su participación dentro del Cabildo Joven 2024, el alcalde Marco Bonilla recibió en el despacho de Presidencia Municipal a los 16 jóvenes que formaron del programa durante todo un año, quienes compartieron sus experiencias y aprendizajes de la vida dentro de la función pública.
El alcalde Bonilla, aprovechó el espacio para agradecer a las y los jóvenes su interés en participar en la política, sobre todo porque actualmente existe mucha apatía entre la juventud, que la mayoría de las veces solo piensan en divertirse.
“Fueron los jóvenes quienes en los años 90 apoyaron la alternancia en el poder en Chihuahua y en 2000 en todo México, por eso es importante que la juventud esté enterada de lo que ocurre en su país para evitar retrocesos”, expresó el Edil.
A su vez, el director de Desarrollo Humano y Educación, Mario García, externó que la política también se construye desde el ámbito empresarial, porque justo el inició a los 19 años en Coparmex, para luego brincar al servicio público cuando tomar conciencia que deben de hacerse cambios.
También cada uno de los integrantes del Cabildo Joven, tuvo la oportunidad de expresar su experiencia en un año que duró su permanencia en el programa y lo que más les llamó la atención fue las sesiones de Cabildo y las reuniones de comisiones de regidores, donde tuvieron la oportunidad de conocer como funciona desde adentro el Ayuntamiento de Chihuahua y como se construyen acuerdos entre partidos en beneficio de las familias chihuahuenses.
