La Comisión de Derechos Digitales del Senado alista el diseño y aprobación de una ley nacional en materia de ciberseguridad, así como revisar legislaciones en materia de libertad expresión en el espacio digital, comercio electrónico y gobierno digital, entre otros rubros.
El presidente de dicha comisión, Luis Donaldo Colosio Riojas expuso que de acuerdo con el calendario de este órgano legislativo, se incluye la realización de mesas de trabajo, cursos y talleres de capacitación sobre seguridad informática, con motivo del mes de la ciberseguridad, que se conmemora en octubre.
Para noviembre, se tienen planeadas diversas actividades como foros de discusión y capacitación sobre derechos digitales, para revisar la Ley General de Derechos Digitales, con el apoyo de diferentes comisiones del Senado y con la colaboración de la Agencia de Transformación Digital y Telecomunicaciones.
Colosio Riojas destacó que en octubre diversas organizaciones públicas y privadas tienen actividades que buscan generar conciencia en la población acerca de los riesgos y la comisión de delitos en el ciberespacio.
