El alcalde de Chihuahua, Marco Bonilla, dio a conocer las fechas de publicación de convocatorias, así como las de recepción y resultados de las diferentes becas del Gobierno Municipal como el Programa Alimentario del Adulto Mayor (PAAM), Mi Beca Chihuahua Deporte, Discapacidad, Competitividad, Formación y Excelencia Académica.
Durante el 2024, el PAAM benefició a más de 7 mil 200 adultos mayores, las becas de Deporte y Discapacidad tuvieron cobertura universal, la beca de formación 11 mil 351, la de Excelencia Académica 6 mil 162 alumnos y las de Competitividad 97 alumnos beneficiados.
En su mensaje, el alcalde informó los requisitos para aplicar, calendario y anuncios de resultados de todos los trámites de estas becas, los pueden consultar en la página de internet: http://www.municipiochihuahua.gob.mx y en los periódicos de mayor circulación.
“De esta manera, desde el Gobierno Municipal hemos diseñado programas de becas académicas, alimentarias, para adultos mayores, deportivas, rurales y para personas con discapacidad, pues nuestro objetivo es construir una ciudad con oportunidades para todas y todos”, expresó Marco Bonilla.
Por su parte, la presidenta del DIF Municipal, Karina Olivas, agregó que por medio del DIF, se entregará el PAAM, convocatoria que inicia el 26 de enero, la cual busca brindar paquetes alimentarios a adultos mayores. La recepción de documentos será del 10 al 21 de febrero, para posteriormente dar a conocer la lista de seleccionados el 16 de marzo.
Además, el director de Desarrollo Humano y Educación, Mario García, explicó las fechas de becas que ofrece esta dependencia:
- Competitividad: convocatoria a partir del 12 de enero, documentación del 20 al 24 de enero y los resultados el 16 de marzo (dirigida a estudiantes con promedio de 9.5 a 10 de escuelas públicas de nivel superior que promueven la formación de ingenierías en carreras específicas).
- Excelencia Académica: convocatoria 19 de enero, documentación del 3 al 7 de febrero y los resultados el 1 de junio (dirigida a estudiantes de primaria y nivel superior de promedios de 9.5 a 10).
- Formación: convocatoria el 19 de enero, documentación 27 al 31 de enero y los resultados serán el 1 de junio (dirigida a estudiantes de promedio de 7.5 a 9.4 en niveles preescolar, primaria y superior).
- Discapacidad: convocatoria 16 de febrero, documentación 24 de febrero al 7 de marzo y resultados el 30 de marzo (dirigida a personas con credencial de discapacidad vigente, sin edad específica y que vivan en la ciudad de Chihuahua).
El director del Instituto Municipal de Cultura Física y Deporte, Juan Abdo, manifestó que Mi Beca Chihuahua Deporte se publicará la convocatoria el 12 de enero, y la recepción de documentos será del 10 al 21 de febrero en el centro deportivo Tricentenario en horario de 9:00 am a 3:00 pm y los resultados se darán a conocer el 1 de abril.
Esta beca está dirigida a deportistas menores y mayores de edad que cuenten con competencias mínimas en los Juegos Estatales CONADE, deportistas con discapacidad, entrenadores, atletas de alto rendimiento, las y los ganadores del Premio Municipal a la Excelencia en el Deporte “Teporaca”, promotores deportivos a cargo de la actividad deportiva de una unidad o cancha municipal y los comités deportivos municipales.
